Presentación

Project management is one of the fastest growing professions worldwide. Our MSc in Project Management will equip you with both intellectual and practical skills to enable you to become a project manager in virtually any field of work, in any country.

This course is designed to teach project management to people from any discipline. The course focuses on managing Engineering projects, but unlike many other project management courses, you do not need an engineering or technical background to excel on this course. A large number of our students are from business, arts or humanities backgrounds.

The course covers a comprehensive range of project management topics, and you will learn through lectures, tutorials and practical sessions. You will also be given the chance to put your new skills into practice, with an extended project management business game over a six-week period.

Requisitos

We usually require applicants to hold at least a 2:2 honours degree in any subject. We will also consider applicants who have other qualifications and substantial work experience.
If you have already covered one or more of the topics covered by the course, and would like to apply for accreditation of prior learning (APL), please contact the course leader.

English Language Requirement

If English is not your first language you should have at least one of the following qualifications (or equivalent) as a minimum:

British Council International English Language Testing System (IELTS): Overall score of 6.0, with at least 5.5 in each component: reading, writing, listening and speaking
Pearson Test of English Academic with a minimum score in each individual element of 51 and 52 overall
Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) grade C or above
Cambridge Certification in Advanced English (CAE) grade C or above
O-Level English Language or GCSE English Language grades A, B or C (UK Exam board)

Please note: Some courses require a higher level of English language – read the course description carefully to see if this applies to your chosen course.

If you do not meet the required English language requirements, we recommend that you take one of our English improvement courses. The purpose of these courses is to improve your skills to the level required in order to apply for a university degree course.
